The invention consists of a cleaning method for the complete removal of endotoxins from biomaterials and metallic substrates.

This technique is especially attractive because it employs non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-corrosive fluids and is suitable for heat-sensitive biomaterials. The cleaning method is also able to rapidly penetrate and remove contaminants from complex structures and devices.
