Charles R. Lovell, PhD. Department of Biological Sciences University of South Carolina
Dr. Lovell is a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of South Carolina. He specializes in molecular microbial ecology. His main research interests are in the responses of natural bacterial communities to physical, chemical, and biological environmental variables. His research program addresses the relationship between microbial diversity and ecological function and examines a number of specific questions at the level of ecophysiology, population dynamics and community ecology. Dr. Lovell received his PhD. from Purdue University.
