Dr. Crawford is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of South Carolina. His research group studies nanomagnetism and magnetic metrology and is currently focused on creating new macroscopic materials using Pattern Transfer Nanomanufacturing™. His goal is to inspire a diverse team of students and faculty to make new discoveries and drive fundamental innovation in single spin nanotechnology. Dr. Crawford received his B.S. in Physics from Haverford College in Pennsylvania. He received his M.S. and his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
