In today’s modern world, a significant amount of energy is being wasted or not used efficiently. This invention focuses on the energy that is being output by the florescent lights that are used in most buildings.

 

Invention Description:

The invention uses a solar panel to harness the wasted energy coming from florescent lights. The energy will be used to power other devices as well as being stored for later use when the solar panel is not being illuminated. A wireless device is then used to send information to a cell phone and stored locally on a computer.

 

Potential Applications:

The invention can be used to power any small devices within office buildings, schools, governmental organizations, and any location with fluorescent lighting.
